Nicole LeClair

VP, Canadian Operations

Nicole is the VP of Operations at Assurant responsible for administration excellence to support our multiple Canadian business lines and associated support teams, including Creditor, Loan, Card Benefits, Connected Living, Training, Customer Experience, Quality Assurance, Workforce Planning and Customer Support. In addition, Nicole also leads the US Financial Services Claims and Operations Process Management teams.

Nicole joined Assurant in 2004 as the Manager of Business Programming and has held various roles of increasing responsibility including Director of Operations & Business Process Optimization and AVP, Canadian Operations. Nicole is a member of the Senior Leadership team for both Assurant Canada, and Assurant Global Connected Living Operations. She is an active leader for Assurant sponsored charity events and participates in enterprise activities and councils. She is also the recipient of two Assurant Top Notch Awards, and an Assurant Platinum ICUE award. Nicole has also graduated from the prestigious Assurant Excel Program, sponsored by Harvard Business Publishing.

Prior to joining Assurant, Nicole held a variety of positions in the Operations and Business Analysis sectors at RBC and MBNA. She was recognized as key talent at RBC, through a program that recognized the top 3% performers at the bank.

Nicole is a previous President of Kingston Daycare Inc., and she is an advocate for children living with exceptionalities, specifically those living with ASD & ADHD.

Nicole graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Sociology & History.
